Four Tesla Model S/X assembly line employees tested positive for novel Coronavirus

On June 10, it was reported that two Tesla employees had tested positive for novel Coronavirus just days after Elon Musk “went to war” with Alameda County, California, and Governor Gavin Newsome to reopen the Fremont plant.
Hours earlier, four more Tesla employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

Electrek reports that four of its Model S/X assembly line workers who tested positive for a Novel Coronavirus on Wednesday were all working on the same line, according to an employee briefed on the matter.

Moreover, because Tesla has an agreement with Alameda County that no known cases need be reported before the agreement, Electrek notes that “non-Alameda county resident employees who test positive may not have been reported, even though the plant is located in Alameda County.”
